Quint 9 and Midi 9 were organized in the former quarters of Engine 15, Engine 1, and Truck 1, at 315 Monroe Ave, in the summer of 1994.  Quint 9 responds with a 1997 E-One Hurricane with a 110-foot aerial, 1500 gpm, Hale pump, and 300-gallon booster tank.  Midi 9 operates a 1997 Ford/E-One with a 1000 gpm Hale pump and 500-gallon booster tank.  Quint/Midi 9 are one of the two companies in the city to carry a Hurst Tool.  Their district includes downtown Rochester, the Monroe Ave shopping district, and several large apartment buildings.
